Error is negation of consciousness and so existence, which makes concrete description hard. Nevertheless, here are some flawed and inadequate attempts:

A person whose choices are driven by external forces, say, fentanyl craving, or the directions of a cult leader, is likely to be in error, as is a person who lacks love.
Nonsense
We mean Error in a sense that is qualitatively different than falsehood, mistake, or misunderstanding. Error is not even taking the wrong direction, it is taking no direction. It is abdication of choice, which indicates lack of attention or care —lack of presence. And existence, without choice or presence, is nonsense. Error is self-negating. Error makes no sense.
